1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

ToolToolNam processes personal information for the following purposes and does not use it for any purpose other than those specified below:

  • Verifying customer membership intention, identifying and authenticating the customer in accordance with service provision, maintaining and managing membership status, processing payments for goods or services, and supplying or delivering goods or services.

2. Processing and Retention Period for Personal Information

  1. ToolToolNam processes and retains personal information within the period agreed upon when collecting the information or within the period specified by law.

  2. Specific retention periods for personal information are as follows:

  • Customer registration and management: Until the termination of the service use contract or membership withdrawal.

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

  1. ToolToolNam provides personal information to third parties only with the consent of the data subject or in cases that meet the requirements of Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as special legal provisions.

  2. ToolToolNam provides personal information to third parties as follows:

  • Recipient: Google
  • Purpose of use by the recipient: Analysis and statistical purposes such as lifecycle and event tracking when using the downloaded app (Google Analytics), and for providing customized advertisements by data subject (Google AdMob).
  • Retention and use period of the recipient: From the installation of the app in accordance with the period specified by Google per product.
  • Recipient's product-specific privacy policy: According to Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en).

4. Entrusting the Processing of Personal Information

① ToolToolNam entrusts certain personal information processing tasks to facilitate smoother personal information management as follows:

  • Entrustment period: None

② When concluding an entrustment contract, ToolToolNam specifies in the contract or document that the entrusted party shall not process personal information for purposes other than the performance of the entrusted work, in compliance with Article 25 of the Personal Information Protection Act, and will supervise the entrusted party to ensure the safe processing of personal information.

③ If the details of the entrusted work or the trustee change, ToolToolNam will promptly disclose this in the privacy policy.

5. Rights of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives, and How to Exercise Them

① The data subject may exercise the following rights regarding personal information protection at any time with ToolToolNam:

  1. Request to access personal information
  2. Request correction in case of errors
  3. Request deletion
  4. Request suspension of processing

ToolToolNam processes the following personal information items:

7. Destruction of Personal Information

In principle, ToolToolNam promptly destroys personal information once the purpose of its processing has been achieved. The procedure, timing, and method of destruction are as follows:

  • Destruction Procedure: Information entered by the user is transferred to a separate database (or separate documents in the case of paper) after the purpose is achieved, stored for a certain period as required by internal policies and other relevant laws, and then destroyed. Personal information transferred to the database will not be used for purposes other than those mandated by law.

  • Destruction Timing: Personal information will be destroyed within 5 days of the end of the retention period, or within 5 days from the date it is deemed unnecessary, such as upon achieving the purpose of processing, service closure, or business termination.

8. Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automated Data Collection Devices

ToolToolNam does not use ‘cookies’ that store and retrieve information about data subjects. Information provided by data subjects to third parties, such as Google, adheres to the settings on the data subject's device and is independent of ToolToolNam.

9. Personal Information Protection Officer

ToolToolNam designates the following person as the Personal Information Protection Officer, responsible for overseeing personal information processing tasks, handling complaints from data subjects, and providing relief.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies from the effective date. Any additions, deletions, or amendments in accordance with laws and policies will be notified 7 days before the changes take effect through announcements.
